LAOS for agencies
Livestock Australian Operating System

Livestock Australian Operating System
The mob, the listing, the sale checks, the truck and the settlement in one shared record, for the agent, the producer and the buyer.
One shared record for agents, producers and buyers.
The problem
One sale passes through five handoffs. Each is a chance for a wrong weight, a missed withholding period or a stale declaration.
LAOS keeps the sale on one record. The producer, the agent, the buyer and the feedlot work from it, each seeing what their role allows.
Property and mob records. Listings and buyer requirements. Sale progress and receival. LAOS brings the work together, with access based on each person’s role and permissions.
LAOS at work
Real screens from LAOS. The agent, the producer, the buyer and the feedlot each work from the same record, and each sees what their role allows.
01 / The property
Paddocks on satellite imagery, with each mob, its head and its days in. The owner draws the boundaries, and LAOS keeps the history of every move.

02 / The agent’s day
Each morning LAOS puts the exceptions first: a mob still inside a withholding period, a sale that cannot be confirmed yet, a vendor not yet paid.

03 / Supply meets demand
Buyers keep standing requirements: head, delivery weight, delivery window and budget per head. LAOS ranks the listed stock that fits and shows the reasons for each match.

04 / Before dispatch
Before stock moves, LAOS checks the sale has what it needs on record: the property identification, the NVD, withholding periods clear of the dispatch date, and a transport plan. A blocked sale says why, and when it clears.

05 / The pipeline
On the market, under offer, confirmed and moving, settling, settled. One board for the whole agency, with a blocked check in plain sight on its card.

06 / Arrival
The feedlot sees what is coming, when and from whom. Part loads are recorded as they arrive, so the number still to come is clear.

Every screen here was captured from LAOS on 5 Nov 2026, on a fictional sample farm. Names, properties and figures are invented, and dates in the screens are that day’s. Declarations are recorded as people make them; LAOS does not yet check them against NLIS or the ISC.
In the paddock
Every capture is saved on the phone first and sent when there is signal. Losing signal loses nothing, and sending twice records once.

Keep listings, buyer requirements and sale progress close at hand.
LAOS for agencies
Keep property, mob, weight and treatment records together, and share with permission.
LAOS for producers
Set buying requirements, review matching listed stock and record receival.
LAOS for buyers
LAOS shows the source of recorded information and uses permissions to control access. Treatment declarations and sale-readiness checks stay visible as the work progresses.
Recorded declarations
are clearly labelled.
Public provenance
is an explicit choice.

Built around the livestock trade
Our ambition is to help the record travel further with the livestock. We are starting with the people managing records, listings and sales.
